NPU-S Events:

• Mon Feb 10, 6:00pm. Executive Committee meeting. The NPU is guided by the Executive Committee.  The Executive Committee is comprised of the Officers, the chairs of the Standing Committees, and a representative for each qualifying Neighborhood Organization. 
  
  

Mon Feb 10th. Yard Trimmings Collected. Due to staffing shortages, yard trimmings will be collected every other week until further notice. This week, yard trimmings WILL be collected.

Trash and recycling are collected weekly as usual.

Tue Feb 11, 6:00pm. Friends of James Orange Park. James Orange Recreation Center, 1305 Oakland Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30310, USA. Monthly in-person meeting for the Friends of James Orange Park group and representatives of City of Atlanta Parks and Recreation. The meeting is held every month at the recreation center.

Wed Feb 12, 6:30pm. NPU-S Quality of Life Committee Meeting. https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83127122349.

This committee makes recommendations to the NPU about:

1. all matters related to social services, health care, police, and fire protection;
2. all matters related to recreation, parks, libraries, and cultural affairs;
3. and all matters related to a pleasant and healthful environment, including, but not limited to: sanitary services, water and sewer facilities and services, and noise quality.
