This Thursday will be the August NPU-S Policy committee meeting!
This committee makes recommendations to the NPU about:
all matters related to the citywide Atlanta Planning and Advisory Board;
all matters related to the NPU's official policies and positions on internal, citywide, and regional issues;
and all matters related to the relationship of the NPU with its neighboring NPUs, neighborhoods, and municipalities.
This thirsday's meeting will center around the NPU-S Bylaws. All NPU's MUST turn in bylaws yearly in the fall so this meeting we will look at what we currently have. As you all know, the NPU as well as all recognized neighborhood orgs must turn in by laws to the city annually so all Neighborhood org leaders are urged to attend or send a representative to participate in this conversation!
